Help getting Lumenet running on Windows: create an account, activate through your browser, and resolve common issues.
Getting started
Full desktop features require an account. Follow these steps before you install — the Windows installer is coming at launch.
-
Create a free account
Sign up on this site so you are ready to activate when the installer is published. No payment is required while billing is unavailable.
-
Review the download and activation flow
Read the Download page for the real activation sequence: install, sign in from the app, approve this device in your browser, return via a local loopback redirect.
-
Explore what the app provides
Visit the Features page for decision prompts, activity graphs, world map, rules, profiles, and modes — all driven by data that stays on your PC.
Activation help
Activation uses the account-activation design: the desktop app opens your system browser; you sign in and approve linking this computer; the app receives a one-time code on a local address — never your password.
-
Start from the desktop app
Open Lumenet on this PC and choose Sign in. Only approve the browser prompt if you started activation from the app on this machine.
-
Sign in or create an account in the browser
Use the same account you created on this site. If you are redirected to log in first, you will return to the activation consent page afterward.
-
Name this device and approve
On the activation page, review the request, enter a device name you will recognize later, and approve. You can rename or revoke devices from your dashboard.
-
Wait for the loopback redirect
After approval, the browser redirects to a local address on this computer. The desktop app completes activation with a one-time authorization code. If the app does not respond, see Troubleshooting below.
Troubleshooting
-
The browser did not return to the app
Confirm you approved activation on this PC and that Lumenet is still running. Check whether a firewall or security tool blocked the local loopback redirect. Try activation again from the app.
-
Seat limit reached
Your plan enforces a maximum number of active device seats. Sign in to the dashboard, review activated devices, and revoke a seat you no longer use before activating this machine.
-
Offline or entitlement expired
Local rules and history remain on your PC, but refreshing entitlement requires a network connection to the account service. If you are offline past the grace window, enforcement may pause until the app can verify your subscription again.
-
An app is blocked and needs access
Use the decision prompt to Allow or Allow once, or edit rules and profiles in the desktop app. Lumenet is designed to show blocks rather than silently drop connections without explanation.
