Lumenet started with a simple discomfort: a modern PC talks to hundreds of servers a day, and almost none of that is visible — let alone consented to. Firewalls guard the front door while installed software walks out the back with whatever it likes.

So we built the tool we wanted: a native Windows app that shows every connection as it happens, asks a clear question the first time something new wants out, and remembers your answer as a rule you can read. No jargon, no cloud dashboard, no data leaving your machine.

Principles

• Ask first. New outbound connections are your decision, not a default.
• Local only. The history of your network belongs on your disk, nowhere else.
• Native or nothing. Built for Windows on Windows Filtering Platform — fast, small, and at home in the OS.
• Calm by design. A security tool should earn attention, not demand it.
