Enforcement modes

One switch from quiet to airtight.

Lumenet always watches the same way — modes only change what happens when an app without a rule tries to connect.

Default

Normal

Your rules run as written. Anything without a rule triggers a prompt, and your answer becomes the rule. This is day-to-day Lumenet: quiet until something genuinely new happens.

Learning

Everything is allowed and everything is logged. Perfect for a fresh install: let your PC behave normally for a few days, then open the learning baseline and turn what happened into allow or block rules in one review.

Lockdown

Only explicitly allowed apps get out — everything else is blocked without asking. For hostile networks, incident response, or just peace of mind while you sleep.

Silent

Rules are enforced but prompts never appear — unknown traffic follows the active profile default action. Ideal for presentations, gaming, and shared machines.

Paused

Enforcement stands down for a set time — five minutes, an hour, or until you resume — then returns to the mode you were in. Monitoring keeps recording the whole time.

Profiles follow the network

Each profile carries its own rules and default action, and can bind to a network type — Public, Private, Domain, or a specific Wi-Fi name. Join public Wi-Fi and the Public profile takes over automatically.
